This Book Made Me Think of You - a young widow discovers the healing power of books and newfound friends.

Several months after Tilly Nightingale lost her husband Joe, she receives a call from a local bookshop informing her that a gift is waiting for her. After being diagnosed with a terminal illness, Joe had arranged for Tilly to receive a book a month for the next year, beginning on her birthday. Each book comes with a loving letter explaining his choice to Tilly, a book editor who has struggled to enjoy reading since losing the love of her life. A new friendship begins with Alfie, the bookstore manager, as Tilly finds renewed hope and strength through rediscovering her love of books. 

Libby Page's This Book Made Me Think of You is a lovely, heartwarming story. In addition to Tilly and Alfie, the bookstore staff and the people Tilly meets on her journey, are so appealing. While there are many weepy moments, this is an uplifting and hopeful book. Book lovers, you won't want to miss this one.
