Her Last Breath - a highly suspenseful story set during a caving adventure.

Allie is a successful travel writer and influencer who shares her adventures from around the world. Her best friend, Tess, helps manage Allie's growing business while also pursuing a law degree. Years ago, Allie's family took Tess in to help her escape an abusive mother, leading the two girls to become as close as sisters. Allie persuades Tess to join her on a caving trip in the Cascade Range, which quickly turns disastrous. When we meet Tess, she is in a hospital bed recounting her harrowing tale to detective Lydia Washington. During the trip, an unexpected third person appears, changing the planned adventure between two friends into a tale of survival. The story alternates between the present and various parts of the caving trip. What unfolds is a claustrophobic story that challenges a survivor's recollection of what happened twenty stories underground. 

In Her Last Breath, Taylor Adams has created a riveting book filled with a high level of suspense and unexpected twists. This atmospheric novel will keep you on edge, feeling tense and perhaps uncomfortable, yet it will also thrill and surprise you. What a ride!
