Sydney Cleary, a former public defender, is uncertain if she can ever forgive her husband Curtis Lowe after he admitted to cheating on her. To start fresh, Curtis sells his interest in his commercial property leasing business in New York City, and they purchase a secluded villa in Catalonia, Spain, hoping for a fresh start in their relationship with plans to open a vineyard in the Mediterranean countryside. Bianca and Damian, a young couple from Australia, arrive at their house after their van breaks down. While waiting for the necessary part, Sydney and Curtis invite the couple to stay with them, especially since Damian is handy and can help with some projects around the property. Both Bianca and Damian start exhibiting suspicious behavior, including both making advances towards Sydney. When Damian's accent slips, the Curtis and Sydney realize it's time for their guests to leave. If only it were that simple.
Strangers in the Villa, Robyn Harding's latest psychological thriller is a claustrophobic, twisty tale. What's the true connection between Bianca, Damian and their hosts? Through alternating points-of-view, each of these morally gray character's stories unfold. This tense story will keep you on the edge of your seat.
