Meet Me in Paris - seven moving, interconnected love stories.

It's springtime in Paris and love is in the air. Although the ones destined to find it don't know it yet. First, we meet Julia and Piper Glover, a mother and daughter visiting from the U.S. Their trip is bittersweet, as Julia is nearing the end of her battle with cancer and she wants to create cherished memories with Piper. Next, we meet Jackson Quick, a 90's rock star on a comeback tour. Despite his successful career, he has never experienced the profound love he sings about. His most famous song, City of Light, was written by Henry McGee, who has traveled to Paris upon learning that the woman who inspired his love songs, believed to have perished in a concentration camp, is alive. Henry is staying with his granddaughter Melanie, whose husband is attempting to win her back after having an affair. An Australian expat running a local bar meets an American woman whose friends are helping her through a divorce. Another young American woman comes to Paris to get to know her estranged father. And there's a group of Vietnam veterans reuniting.

While it initially might seem like Kristin Harmel has created a bit too many characters to keep track of, fear not. You will care about all of the characters in Meet Me in Paris so much that you will have no trouble following their stories, especially since many of them are interconnected. The emotionally moving journey of Julia and Piper and the men they meet provides the greatest appeal, closely followed by Harry's opportunity to reunite with Celeste, the woman who inspired his songwriting career. As fate would have it, Celeste suffers from dementia, yet Harry is determined to bring the memory of their love back to her. This book that will capture your heart and inspire you to add a trip to Paris to your bucket list.
