After losing her job, mathematician Aubrey MacLean leaves New York City and returns to her hometown of Henderson, Indiana to regroup. After the loss of her father, her large childhood home is empty, providing the perfect refuge. She has to face seeing Nick Thaler, who broke her heart seventeen years ago. The memory of their young romance and all his love letters have kept her from finding love as an adult. Former high school football captain Gallant Nobel still lives in town and quickly jumps at the opportunity to date the former cheerleader. To win Aubrey's affection, Gallant hires someone online to ghostwrite love letters. The true author of these passionate letters is actually Nick, who needs extra money for his 16-year-old daughter, Paige. While the letters appear to be winning Aubrey over, she is also spending time volunteering for the annual Fall Festival, conveniently paired to work alongside Paige and Nick, who has never stopped loving Aubrey. Will they get a second chance, or has life become too complicated for them to start again, as another suitor waits in the wings?
After a long string of intense thrillers, it was time for romance. Love Letters for Other People is an enjoyable book, set in both the present and the past and brings all the emotions - heartbreak, longing, regret, nostalgia, and passion. The main characters will capture your heart.
