You Belong Here - a thriller set in a small college town.

Beckett Bowery is a single mother who grew up in the small college town of Wyatt Valley, Virginia, raised by two former professors from Wyatt College. She attended the college herself, but after a tragic incident where two local young men died and her roommate, Adalyn, went missing, she transferred and completed her education abroad. Now, she has returned to drop off her daughter, Delilah, for her freshman year at Wyatt College, a place she dreads being back at. It doesn't take long before Beckett fears that her past has put Delilah in danger. 

Megan Miranda knows how to create lots of suspense and an immersive atmosphere in her thrillers. I was immediately hooked by You Belong Here with its small college-town setting, complete with a creepy, deep woods that, of course, has poor Wi-Fi service. I was fully engaged but had some plot issues, which, if discussed, would be spoilers. I was still glad to have read it.
