Walter Nash has been leading a fairly uneventful life. He's a nice, mild-mannered, married man with a daughter, and is a diligent, well-paid, and valued employee at Sybaritic Investments. He had been estranged from his tough, Vietnam veteran father, Tiberius. After his father's funeral, the FBI approaches Walter with shocking information about his company and its CEO, Everett “Rhett” Temple. Nash has no choice but to cooperate with the FBI, but is soon forced into hiding, assisted by his father's best friend and fellow Vietnam veteran and security expert, Isaiah York. Walter soon realizes that he is much more like his father than he ever imagined. 

David Baldacci has a talent for creating characters so engaging that they've warranted their own series. I've enjoyed the adventures of Amos Decker/Memory Man, John Puller, Altee Pine, and Travis Devine/The 6:20 Man. We know there will be a second book featuring Walter Nash, whose life will never be the same. I'm looking forward to it. If you are a Baldacci fan, you probably already have Nash Falls on your reading list. Enjoy it!
