Haven't Killed in Years - a serial killer's daughter living with a new identity becomes the target of another killer.

Gwen Tanner is employed at a financial services company. In her free time, she enjoys using the pottery wheel at Painting Pots. She leads a quiet life, avoiding close relationships. That's because Gwen is not her real name; she is actually Marin Haggerty. At the age of nine, her father, serial killer Abel Haggerty, was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison. Her mother, Reanne, was found guilty of aiding and abetting him. Two decades later, her mother is released from prison. Gwen is shocked when she receives a package containing a severed arm and a note that reads, Hi, Marin. To protect her true identity, Gwen must uncover who sent her the arm. She connects with individuals who have an interest in her father, including a young man who conducts "murder tours" about Abel's life and crimes. Gwen goes from a solitary existence to being involved with a group where any one of them might have discovered her identity and is seeking some form of recognition or possibly revenge.

Haven't Killed in Years by Amy K. Green is a creative and chilling story. The book's dark humor effectively balances with the horrible acts of a serial killer. Gwen is an intriguing character. Should we feel sympathy for her, or is there a reason to fear her? I enjoyed this fast-paced thriller as I tried to unravel the mystery.
