Don't Let Him In - a gripping psychological thriller.

Nina Swann is mourning the accidental death of her husband, restaurateur Paddy, when she receives a thoughtful correspondence from Nick Radcliffe, an old acquaintance of her husband. Her daughter Ash, in her twenties and dealing with mental health challenges, becomes concerned when Nina starts dating the handsome and charming Nick, who seems too perfect. Ash is determined to learn more about him. Then we meet Martha, who owns a local flower shop. She has two children from her first marriage and a baby daughter with her current husband, Alistair. Martha grows increasingly concerned when Alistair's job keeps him away for days at a time, and he becomes unreachable. Their money issues are mounting. Alistair is keeping things from her, and she needs to uncover his secrets. 

Lisa Jewell, a favorite author, has written a dark thriller I couldn't put down. In Don't Let Him In, there are many characters in this tense tale, and it takes a while to figure out who everyone is and how they all connect as the timelines and points of view shift. But stay with it, it all comes together and is well worth the ride.
