Lennon Gallagher is on the fast track toward making partner at her Connecticut law firm. She is also engaged to Nick, a devoted partner who is a best-selling author. Despite Lennon's challenging childhood, Nick's stable family has given her a strong sense of belonging. Her best friend Miranda (Randi) Quinn and her family have also provided love and stability. Erin Cooper, a woman from law school, reaches out to Lennon for help after being arrested for domestic abuse. However, this is only the start of a terrible situation. Erin is not to be trusted. Lennon has grown into a strong woman, yet Erin knows how to manipulate her and threatens everything she's worked so hard to achieve.

Class Reunion is the second book in Gail Ward Olmsted's Raising the Bar series. It is a spinoff from her Miranda Quinn series. With a total of five novels, not counting her other books, Olmsted has created a highly engaging legal universe filled with many excellent recurring characters. Each book can be read as a standalone but treat yourself to all of them. This latest book is a highly entertaining legal thriller that includes themes of friendship, found family, and a touch of romance.

Many thanks to the author for providing an advance.
